A change on the horizon: Director & Adviser Jim steps into management position

03/03/2022

A change in the structure of B-Advised Ltd is on the horizon at the close of this month, as Director and Adviser Jim Forster moves into a Management position within the company.

After 35 years in his role as an Adviser – specialising in Equity Release and Mortgage Protection – it’s time for Jim to step into a Management position. As B-Advised Ltd continues to grow and evolve, so does the company’s responsibility as an advising body. So, who better than Director Jim to step up and take the helm as B-Advised restructures?

Reflecting on his 35 years as an Adviser, Jim tells of how his greatest joy in his position has been the relationships he has built with both his clients and fellow Advisers alike;

“Helping individuals to get to where they want to be and achieve their goals has been a real pleasure of mine”.

As part of his new role in Management, Jim will be working to ensure that B-Advised maintains FCA compliance standards, working to deliver these standards to a team based in both the North East and North West of England. Jim will also be responsible for developing relationships with other businesses, focusing on growing the company’s reach and it’s image as a brand.

“The reins are going over to Jane [Hall, Jim’s daughter and colleague]” Jim says, “she’ll be managing our marketing and sales teams from now on whilst I operate from a Managerial position”.

Jim is keen to reassure his clients that they’re still in safe hands and that their needs certainly won’t be put at a disadvantage. Jim will be passing over his client accounts to his long term colleagues Keith Piddock (Mortgage Specialist) and Peter Tiffin (Protection Specialist). He’s confident that they will continue the excellent work he has been doing for those clients who have valued his services, and is eager to let customers know that he’s still there in the background.

“I’ll of course be around to ensure that this changeover process is a smooth one” Jim says.

 “Whilst my involvement in the advice process will be reduced, I’ll still be a major resource of
B-Advised and will remain active in equity release and lifetime mortgages”.

We’re confident that Jim will take to his Management role brilliantly and we cannot think of a
better candidate to lead B Advised Ltd forward into its next phase of growth.

On behalf of all of us here at B Advised Ltd, good luck Jim!
